Take a look at the upcoming events that can support you in growing your business even further.

"There is a secret psychology to money. Most people don't know about it. That's why most people never become financially successful. A lack of money is not the problem; it is merely a symptom of what's going on inside you."

WHAT ARE YOUR MONEY THEMES;DO ANY OF THESE SOUND FAMILIAR?
Not asking what you are worth
Do you self sabotage around money and asking for what you're worth? If you're a solo entrepreneur, there is a high likelihood that the answer to this question is "Yes". Many solo entrepreneurs are great at what they do but have difficulty asking for and receiving a decent wage. Often they squirm when talking to prospective clients about their fees and if the prospect hesitates they may say something like, "I can offer a discount, or what can you pay, or we can trade services."
You love what you do but barely pay the bills
Soon you believe you will need to find a different job/career just to pay the bills and you can feel discouraged. You even doubt at times that you have what it takes to make a great income. You hear those voices of fear saying, "Maybe you need to grow up and stop dreaming and get a real job" or; "how did you think you could do that in the current economy?" The variations are endless, yet the point is, you have doubts that are being activated. You must look within at times like this and do the inner work required to move past your fears/doubts or you might find yourself "settling" and compromising on your dreams.
You dislike your work but make good money
You wonder how you can leave such a good paying job with excellent benefits yet you know it is taking a toil on you. You wake up dreading the day and you find that you are having physical symptoms-headaches, back pain, stomach problems...if you were really listening you'd hear you body saying, "danger, danger; pay attention." Sometimes a health or other crises occurs to get your attention. You have a vague (or not so vague) knowingness that you are not living the life you imagined.
Making money can be a source of frustration with inconsistent cash flow
Sometimes you are making pretty decent income and you are hopeful and feeling on top of the world. You believe you have turned the comer and now things will be better. Then just as quickly, the flow can "dry up" and you find yourself dealing with mounting bills and obligations you feel unable to handle. You are wondering why this is happening and are challenged in budgeting for such up and down times. You begin to question yourself. This is a great place to start.
You believe that you must work hard for money
You do work hard and have little time to relax. Your friends and family are frustrated with you, yet you don't understand why because you are so programmed to be the "work horse." You wonder why they don't understand you better; after all, you believe you are doing the right thing to support the people in your life depending on your income. The problem is you are not really having much fun. You work so hard you are often exhausted and need time alone to re-charge.
Honest people don't make lots of money
You believe that people who make money take advantage of others and you've been on the receiving end of this and so you don't want to be like "them." You also know of people who are doing good things in the world yet you see that as the exception and not the rule. You are getting by and paying all your bills. You are basically doing alright. At least you're not on a treadmill to nowhere you think. The problem is that you often are "living small" and not tapping into your true potential and you know this at some level. There is a gnawing sense of dissatisfaction which spills over into other areas of your live.
All these situations are ones that many people have experienced so know that you are not alone. Some people have experienced a number of these situations at different points in their life. Looking at where you are and making a decision to move in a different direction is the first step. Congratulations on your willingness to live more consciously!
Here are some beginning steps you can take towards financial prosperity:
1. Ask yourself this powerful question, "where do I still need to grow or what do I need to learn to be more responsible around money"?
Perhaps the money is not coming to you because you are not ready for it from a spiritual perspective and part of what you need to learn is being responsible or another lesson that pertains to giving and receiving, etc.
2. Challenge your outdated beliefs and substitute more empowering beliefs in their place.
Your beliefs mostly were formed by the age of 10 by well intentioned people who were limited in their thinking and passed these beliefs on to you. You can begin to question beliefs that no longer serve you and that limit you especially if you truly want financial abundance.
3. Stop the blame game and take 100% responsibility for your results-you are not a victim unless you choose to be.
If you're not making enough money or the income you desire then figure out what you can do; constantly tweak what you are doing to be more effective. Realize that if you choose to stay in victim land things will not change. The price you pay for playing small may be a small income.
4. Get help when you are stuck-no one can do this work alone.
Work with people who can challenge you and hold you accountable for growing (mentors, therapists, money experts, take classes/get educated around money management) There are people who have been where you are and have made a significant break through and now are more than willing to support you to do the same.
Congratulations on taking some steps towards financial abundance and looking at your money themes! These beginning steps can support you in your goals to make 2009 a truly great year.
